HAPPY 4th of JULY 2005!
HAPPY 4th of JULY, 2005!
To all my American friends, and to all American's everywhere, from an Australian, I'd like to wish you all a very, very...
May God Bless you all!!! :o)
Here below is a picture I sourced from the official 11th MEU (11th Marine Expeditionary Unit) web site featuring a Marine honouring a comrade killed in action while serving in Iraq.
Like with my choice of the Iwo Jima photo in last years July 4th greeting, I wanted to chose a photo that appropriately honours and pays tribute, once again, to all the brave young men and women who are serving in the Middle East, in Iraq and Afghanistan, and who are risking, or have lost, their lives for their respective countries in those conflicts.

Once again, on this 4th of July...
Please remember those who are giving their lives to make ours better and safer.
Remember those who are giving their lives to help make those of the Iraqi people better and safer.
Say a prayer, say many, for those giving of their lives to make ours, and those of the Iraqi people, safer and better.
Who are giving their lives to help make those of the Afghani people, better and safer.
Please remember our armed forces military personnel past, present and future, for they truly do deserve all of our honour, and all of our respect, wherever in the world we reside.
Let's all come together today in respect and honour and to acknowledge all the courageous men and women of the US and Coalition forces serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and any other part of the world, for their commitment to us, to our countries and to the world at large, so that we can all be free and can live in freedom, without fear.
I / we deeply thank them all and salute them, always! :o)
Love, Christine
